See all the pictures from the 2007 Kurt Angle Teen Machine Ultimate Challenge!

Thanks to many TEEN participants and generous sponsors, the Kurt Angle Ultimate Teen Machine Challenge on May 26, 2007 was a huge success. More than eighty teens divided into twenty teams competed for $5000 dollars in cash and prizes for their high school athletic programs or organizations.

The Teen’s competed in three exciting events:

1)  The Powertec leverage chin-up: Each teen had one minute to complete as many chin-ups as possible using approximately seventy percent of their body weight. The Powertec equipment is designed for any individual to take a percentage of weight off their pull weight. The competitors used 70% of their bodyweight for this event. Each teens count was totaled for an overall team score.

2)  Water Jug Carry & Sled Pull Relay: Each team member carried one or two 5 gallon water jugs down a 30 foot course placing them in a sled while another team member pulled the sled back to finish line. Each team ran the course twice.  Winners had the quickest times.

3)  The Tire Flip competition: Each team member had to properly flip a 120 or 150 pound truck tire down a 30 foot course to a finish line. The fastest times placed.

All Teen’s enjoyed a personal introduction to Mr. Kurt Angle, 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist and Wrestling Super Star. His motivational speech was aimed at living a healthy athletic lifestyle. Angle answered sports and training questions while covering all the benefits to a healthy diet, proper exercise and sports nutrition.

Also, the Teen Challenge had a special guest Ms. Socal Val from TNA Wrestling on Spike TV.

All the young athletes seemed to have enjoyed the events and left with a Kurt Angle Ultimate Challenge t-shirts, water bottles, sponsored products and samples and hopefully greater respect for health, fitness and wellness.

Kurt Angle and Dave Hawk wish to thank all Teams of Teen's, coaches, friends, family and especially our great sponsors for supporting and making the 2007 Kurt Angle Ultimate Teen Challenge an enormous success.
